PAGODAS CLASSIC : 5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS
Yangon / Bagan / Mandalay / Yangon
Day 1 Yangon / Bagan
Morning transfer to Yangon airport
for flight to Bagan. First visit of archaeological site
: the temples of Minnanthu village: Phayar Thone Zu,
Nandamanya, and Thayokepyay and explore the typical
village life. Transfer to hotel for check in after lunch
at Sunset Garden restaurant on the Ayeyarwaddy river
bank. Afternoon Horse-cart tour in the archaeological
site: visit Sulamani and Dhammayangyi Pagodas and view
the sunset from a temple terrace (Pyathatgyi,
Mingalazedi or Shwesandaw). Dinner at local restaurant
and overnight at your hotel. Day 2
Bagan
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day
archaeological site tour: morning visit of Myingaba
village with Manuha and Gupyaukgyi temples, and lacquer
ware workshops. Lunch at local restaurant. Continue
visits to Bagan : Ananda, Htilominlo, and Shwezehon.
Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 3 Bagan / Mandalay / Mingun / Mandalay
Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to
airport for morning flight to Mandalay. Welcome and
departure for a city tour: Shwe Kyaung (Golden Palace
Monastery), Kuthodaw Pagoda and Shwe Innbin wooden
monastery. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon by
boat to Mingun. Visit Pahtodawgyi temple,Mingun bell and
Myatheindan pagoda. Return to Mandalay by boat for
sunset on the river.Dinner at a local restaurant and
overnight at your hotel. Day 4
Mandalay / Amarapura / Inwa / Sagaing / Mandalay
Breakfast at hotel. Morning visit
Mahamuni pagoda with its gilded Buddha Image, and
handicraft workshops nearby. Proceed to Amarapura to
visit Mahagandayon monastery to assist the hundreds of
monk's lunch time. Have a short walk on century old
wooden U Bein bridge. Then continue towards Sagaing to
visit Sagaing hill and lunch at a local
restaurant.Afternoon proceed to Inwa and visit the old
city by horse cart, then return by car to
Mandalay. Dinner at a local restaurant and overnight stay
at your hotel. Day 5 Mandalay /
Yangon
Breakfast at hotel. Morning transfer
to the airport and flight to Yangon.
